Thirlwall - Interesting Statements

Several junior doctors who had worked at the Countess and whose statements were read out at the Thirlwall Inquiry, Wednesday 9th October 2023.

Here, The Countess of Chester work environment, and Letby crying over the deaths she had witnessed:

"She expresses in her statement her personal 'great doubt' that Letby 'has committed the crimes that she denies'"

Dr Christopher Green at the inquiry in September:

"I was disgusted by their behaviour. It is likely that they have lied"

Kathryn de Beger, Letby's counsellor:

Letby speaking to her counsellor on the parental grief subsequent to the deaths:

That bit again: "I feel privileged ar being asked to support Lucy over such a lengthy period and to support Lucy over these very hard times for her. The whole process was very difficult for me, especially with the process taking so long"

After colleagues were advised not to speak in Letby's defence, this:

The consequent response:

To Doctor McCormack, a colleague: the death of Child C made complete sense

Nurse Taylor, apparently not a fan of Letby but who challenged Dr Ravi Jayaram's claims re Child K:

PLUS -

Doctor Matthew Orde on X

The RCPCH report:
Two ward rounds a week!

And, the 'saving a baby with a plot to kill later' story:

Which now looks very suspicious when recounted by Nicholas Johnson, KC ...
